About The Artist
“I believe my lifelong love of animals helps me to portray my subjects with so much realism, capturing their unique personalities and enduring spirits on paper.”

Megan has been drawing for as long as she's been able to hold a pencil. From a young age she was forever sketching horses and dogs on paper, fascinated by the different characteristics of each breed. In high school, she was selected to do 3 Unit Art for her HSC and her love for drawing grew stronger.

After she left school Megan became a graphic designer, then went on to become a photo restoration technician but continued to draw for pleasure and word of mouth led to many commissions. The feedback she received was wonderful and demand overwhelming, so in 2016 Megan made the decision to pursue her dream of becoming a full time artist.

The decision to concentrate the business on animal portraits wasn’t a hard one. Dogs have always been a huge part of her life and she has been blessed to have owned many amazing four-legged family members over her lifetime including her current studio dog Aponi, a 13 year old Chinese Crested Hairless.

Megan is passionate about capturing each subject with care and meticulous attention to detail. Her work is internationally collected with portraits now residing in France, India and Hawaii.
